The Photography Challenge : Love

 

Challenge Category: Feeling

The seventh of the 52 challenges is to take a photo that relates to the theme of love.

 

Challenge Explanation

This challenge is the first challenge of the “Feeling” challenges. It comes early in the 52 weeks challenge because this week is Valentine’s Day! Your goal for this challenge is to take a photo that illustrates the theme “Love”.

This week, photograph anything that reminds you of love. When your viewer sees your image, he/she must think about love.

 

Now that you know everything you need for the challenge, let’s CRUSH it!

I am choosing the 3 images based on 2 criteria:

  1. How well the image is matching the challenge

Feedback on the Selected Images

As we did in Challenge #1, it’s important to study photos. Let’s keep up this habit and do the same for the 3 photos I enjoyed most for this week challenge.

I absolutely love this photo! Obviously it’s a beautiful sunset, with warm colors. I love the balance between the tall building and the small man, and the sense of scale. And the reflection adds to the final image.

When looking at this photo, I can totally picture myself at the end of a day spent chilling on tropical islands, in my kayak, heading back home.

Last favorite of this week Photography Challenge. I immediately think about sunset when I look at this photo, and I love the dark & moody edit.
