The 10 Doors of Thrones

In the beginning of 2016, Storm Gertrude hit Ireland, and was causing chaos across the country: gusts of winds were reaching 160 km/h (100 mph)!

When it hit The Dark Hedges, a stunning location in Northern Ireland, and also a filming location in Game of Thrones, the storm destroyed 2 trees, that fell down.

The trees were salvaged, and reused: 10 beautifully carved doors were created, 1 for each episode of Season 6. The doors are now in various parts of the country, waiting for explorers to find them.

You can find below the location of all 10 doors:

  1. The Cuan, Strangford
  2. Fiddler’s Green, Portaferry
  3. Percy French, Newcastle
  4. Blakes of the Hollow, Enniskillen
  5. Owens, Limavady
  6. Fullerton Arms, Ballintoy
  7. Gracehill House, Stranocum
  8. Mary McBride’s, Cushendun
  9. Ballygally Castle, Ballygally
  10. The Dark Horse, Belfast
