Where to Stay in Lisbon near the Beach?

The Praia de Algés beach is gorgeous, and is really the beach that deserves all your attention. It’s located in the Belem district, which is the best place to stay if you want to take full advantage of the city and its history, as well as the ocean.

But if you want to get away from the capital’s center without going too far away, Costa da Caparica, Carcavelos or Cascais are great options for you. You can still plan a day to discover Lisbon during your trip, and you’ll enjoy the added comfort of staying outside the city.

In any case, you’ll enjoy your stay in Portugal for sure. Local people are always really nice and the food is one of the best on earth.

Looking for Beach Resorts in Lisbon?

Unfortunately, there are no beach resorts in Lisbon. It is no big surprise that with its 500,000 inhabitants there was no space left to build one.

But you can still get a hotel with a pool. Usually, they are heated, so even if you go a little early in the season it will be perfect to relax in the water. And you can also often enjoy the beautiful marine scenery from in the water.

If you need to completely disconnect in a resort, the best you can do is drive a little south and visit the Algarve region. You’ll find some resorts there, and the nature is more than amazing.
